There is no Justice for Rape

Let me tell you about the justice system as it pertains to rape in the state of California. First you go to the hospital or the psychiatric hospital or call the police. In any case, police are called to question you.
If the police are good, they know what questions to ask and make a report for you. If they’re not, they don’t even bother to generate a report.
Then, your case gets sent to a detective and you start the process over again answering questions and telling your story. After that, the detective may or may not choose to submit your case to the district attorney. The district attorney then decides whether or not to file charges.
I was denied a rape kit every time and I’m 0 for 4 with the authorities, so I’m calling you out here: Bradley Alan Ellis, Jared Koufman (Kouffman), Robert Roelofs, and Sean Michael Anthony.
Let me explain something about rape: if a person says no and you keep going, that’s rape. It doesn’t matter if you’re high on coke and choose not to hear them. It doesn’t matter if you feel like a jerk after, you should feel like a criminal, a rapist.
Something that was explained to me by a psychiatrist is that because there is rape in my childhood, sometimes my way of saying no is non-verbal. So when you looked me in the eye before penetrating and I shake my head to indicate no and you continue to penetrate anyway, that’s rape. When my body goes limp and I stop talking or go unconscious during sex and you continue penetrating until you cum, that’s rape.
I can’t help but wonder if gender, race, and/or mental illness play a role. Are men more often believed than woman? If I were a white girl calling out four dark men, would my allegations have been taken more seriously, instead of the reverse a dark girl calling out four white men? If I didn’t have a mental illness that caused me to freak out after trauma, would the authorities have fought for me more?
Even when I had a text message admitting to the rape, Sean, you were not charged.
In my opinion, rape allegations should be treated more seriously. They should be treated like murder allegations. When you rape someone, you really do take away their life. You take away something innocent that was there before. It might even be worse than murder because that person has to live with the pain.
I don’t want to make this video all about me. I’d like to hear your stories too. You can email me about your stories about rape or sexual assault and I’ll post them anonymously to my blog. I don’t care if you’re a guy or girl or other or what races or ethnicity you are or what country you come from, I want to hear. You deserve to be heard.
