To the Presiding Judge,

My name is Athena Juman and I was in an on and off relationship with Brittani Elder from April 4, 2024 until May 30, 2025. During this time and since, her mother, Dawn Renee Elder made several threats to slap me. She also asked me to let her borrow money, against Brittani's wishes to feed her multiple drug addictions. Her and Brittani are both addicted to crack cocaine and prescription pills.

In addition, she made several threats against her own live to evoke pity out of both Brittani and I, causing us to call 911 on two different occasions, only to find out that her threats were artificial in nature and she only wished to illegally occupy Brittani's apartment after she was taken off the lease. She was taken off in March after luring her drug dealer, "L" to beat Brittani up unless she paid off Dawn's drug debts. Brittani suffered a broken nose and a concussion.

Brittani's uncle, Jason Elder has made me feel uncomfortable on a number of occasions. He reached out to me in secret randomly one late night to ask for Brittani's new cell phone number. He could have easily obtained it from his wife, sister or one of his daughters. Brittani was distraught when I let her listen to his voicemail and said, "No! Not again," while pressing her both hands to her face, which led me to believe that he had also been inappropriate with at least one of her exes in the past.

At the beginning of our relationship, Brittani made me promise to NEVER tell that Jason Elder does methamphetamine or that he goes over to her apartment on occasion to drink alcoholic beverage including but not limited to beer. Brittani feared that his wife, Mindy Elder would divorce him, if she ever found out. Brittani recalled a time when the family was in Whitter and Jason gave meth to Dawn, who is diagnosed with multiple mental illnesses. During this time, Dawn became to experience an extreme schizophrenic episode and Jason called the authorities to drag her out of the apartment.

In addition, Jason made several threats against my safety while we were on a three way phone call with Mindy. His action of threating me with violence caused Brittani and I to become concerned for the safety of his children. We both, in good faith called the Child Protective Services hotline to do a welfare check on Jazmine and Chloe. Mindy Elder lied and said that I "swore on a stack of bibles," after coursing me into said three way phone call. I believe she lied about other things and manipulated situations to make herself look like a saint, instead of the gossip mill that she functions as.

She treated very sensitive information about me and my whereabout as pieces of gossip rather than understanding that she was entrusted with said information. This lead to Brittani's current tenants, stalking me and my entire family and friends, including, but not limited to my ex-in laws, fellow participants in the ODR program, my probation officer, and my case management team.

Mindy and Jason's two daughter's Jazmine(10) and Chole(16) are constantly on my social medias including those not appropriate for minors. On these apps, they troll me (Exhibit 1).

Mike (Ellen's husband) came pounding at my door on July 9, 2025. He was aggressive and insisted on coming into my home. I am a single, 33 year old female who lives alone. I do not answer the door for angry and especially aggressive old men. He continued to pound on my door and windows for what felt like 20 minutes.

I do not know how the Elder's obtained my address. I have never had any of them over and Brittani and I made a pact not to disclose my address to them because we both knew how dangerous and violent Jason and Dawn could be. I did not for see the dangers of Jazmine, Chloe, Ellen, Mike, and Mindy choosing to stalk and harass both myself and my 14 year old son. I also don't know how they knew I was home at that time; it is possible they made previous attempt, but the timing just seemed weird, as I had just arrived home 30 minutes prior. 30 minutes is about how long it would have taken Mike to get from Whittier to my house at that time of day.

I ask the court to understand the difference between making criminal threats against someone's safety or well being and making fun of your abusers.

Initially, I was flatter by their stalking, in some way thinking they looked up to me, when in reality they were trolling the entire time. I once sent a picture of me in lingerie to Brittani, while she was at their apartment and Jazmine happened to be spying her Brittani's phone. Jazmine said, "Oh! Now I'm turning into a lesbian." I was both disgusted and appalled at the idea of a 10 year old have such a vulgar though, let alone saying it out loud.

Chloe Elder, sexually assaulted Brittani in front of me TWICE in a row, after seeing how visibly upset I was at the time. She ran her hands up her butt crack and after seeing how uncomfortable Brittani and I both were, she proceeded to do it a second time.

The Elder's place high importance on seeking romantic relationships. As a mother, I do not. My son is an active kid who enjoys being present in the various activities he participates in. His lowest grade this past report card was a 96/100. I am happy with him pursuing whatever he wants to pursue and will support him in building his dreams, as long as he is not causing harm to others.

Mindy Elder constantly body shames both of her minor daughters, mostly the younger one, Jazmine. She restricts their diets in an extreme manner and taunts them about gaining weight. In my opinion, the children do not dress or act their age.

I held my tongue for over a year. It wasn't until the Elder's, Ellen Fry, and Mike worked with Brittani's tenants to stalk and harass my son. I made the decision early on in our relationship to never introduce him to any of Brittani's family, after being only exposed to Dawn regularly. Today, I have never been more sure of my decision.

Upon Brittani's request from being incarcerated, I obtained a durable Power of Attorney to handle all of her financial matters, as her tenants, Kelly Charpenet (Pictured in Exhibit 2) and Jackson P. Hamiter, Kelly's boyfriend were refusing to pay rent in the apartment they occupied under Brittani's name. After obtaining the POA, and Brittani's keys from her, I attempted to evict them. Jackson assaulted me and battered my neighbor, TT when she attempted to stop him from beating me up. She made a police report with the local sheriffs that serve 2066 W Century Blvd., Apt. 2066 Los Angeles, CA 90047.

Days later on June 21, 2025, Kelly Charpenet, who is a notary at 1424 4th St Ste 214, Santa Monica, CA 90401, phone number (310) 213-2628 abused her powers of notary to stalk me and several other people that I know, even people that I do not know. They made false accusations that I was using drugs and hanging out at drug dealer's houses. They also lied about the terms of the rental agreement and how much they have paid in the past (Exhibit 3).

In a nutshell, she has been on hard drugs for at least the last week and has been harrassing us, by phone and by physically coming here - demanding money from us.

We've alerted the Police and the Management. The harrassment includes her coming by, literally beating on our windows, blowing up the phone with non-stop late calls and then, acquiring a key, to actually let herself in here. I put her out and called the Police.

This is the end of a drug-fueled 2 weeks she spent with her lesbian girlfriend, the female we subletted this apartment from, Brittany Elders (we had no idea she was on meth) - that is HOW we even know Athena

Supposedly, a week ago, they were doing fentanyl and meth together (Athena told us this) and she has a bad trip and Brittany looted her bank account, stole her vehicle and totaled it, killing one of her dogs (poor thing)

So, at that time, she was cursing Brittany and saying she called the Police (Brittany WAS arrested and is in jail now) - she came to us, confessing all, saying she'll never do fentanyl again, blah, blah

Then, she said we had to pay HER the rent - $1,800. - she wanted $1,000/mo. - we found out the apartment is section8 and only $400./mo - so, we've been paying $1,200. to Brittany and now, Athena wants some of that since, Brittany will be in jail for 6 felonies and parole violation

So, she's trying to swindle/extort money from us - we don't even know her and she won't stop coming by - i told the Officer i spoke to that i would defend my home and she will get hurt if she enters this residence again (she didn't even knock)

I can't apologize for bothering you with this because she's completely out of control and this is going to end badly

I attached her to this email so, please talk to her - if she's been getting money from you lately, she's been doing drugs with it - if she has a parole officer, now would be a good time to alert them - 

she and her addict girlfriend have been on a crime spree lately - Athena is obviously after some big expensive music device Brittany came in here with a few weeks ago, she's out of money for drugs and she's bingeing - i have no doubt the device is stolen and will be reporting it to the police - so, maybe, she'll give up on getting inside this apartment now

so, now, she's committing fraud, harrassment, etc. - please help her - thank you in Advance

what ugliness - to bring to our lives - LOOK at the mental state she's in right now - she needs an intervention - as it stands, this is getting posted on social media, with her full name - we black people do not like this sort of thing - come to my country to call us niggers - we'll see how all that plays out in social media 

We're going to Channel 7 with this story ("Nigger, REALLY?!?") - maybe, THEN, it will cease. Also, if anything else happens from this point, we know where she lives and will send the police straight to her. She is representing your community in a horrific way - no good can come of this - this is poisonous, venomous, dangerous talk
